Hi, I’m Lis! I’m a Chinese-Canadian creator from Toronto, Canada. I create illustrations with undulating and blended colours that are inspired by moments of tenderness and soft dreams. I also make narrative comics with fable-like themes as well as light, humorous vignettes.

I am also part of Wavering Line Collective, and we produce a riso-printed zine twice a year. The zine collects short pieces by us and a few of our friends- the work ranges from short comics to illustrative spreads. We have also been nominated for a Doug Wright Award for experimental comics. Check out our work here.

I'm currently open for illustration and design work. You can email me at lis@lisshu.com :)
