ABOUT ME
Lis Xu is a Chinese-Canadian creator working in Toronto. She illustrated the children’s book, When Molly Drew Dogs and also worked with Story Planet, an organization that works with Toronto schools to foster storytelling and creativity. She is also one-third of Wavering Line Collective, and has been creating comics together since 2016.
Lis’ work is inspired by nostalgic and playful humor as well as softness and warmth. She uses traditional media, primarily pencil crayon and watercolours. Her comics range from humorous vignettes to empathetic stories of growth.
